Just an update. I've been doing some work with gang members high and low. I give them the space to do the song how they want it. If they want me to put my MUSICAL touches on it, I do it. But I NEVER tell them to take something out or reword it. Very raw, very uncut, ...no punches spared. If they pay, it's because they are satisfied with their work. Otherwise, I send them the finished product (mixed and mastered).
Not one complaint.
They may shout me out. Me and/or the producer (Columbine Gang) of who's instrumental we're using.
Gang, I see y'all doin the same. Keep dooinit! More music, less violence! Let's geedditt!!
Music translates into peace (when done right).
