A few members thought it would be cool to say Kanye should be in Columbine Gang. As the Occult Grandmother (OG), I have to look out for you guys. 

Right now, Kanye is a hotpot for rage amongst a wealthy, yet socially impoverished group. We could lose, having him on board. His newer music is exciting to the trained ear. The listed facts about him make him too hot to allow for #CGi reppin'.

There is a way around this.

All Kanye has to do is say my name. On record. Then he is a welcome member in #thefam.

Let's see.

The shit I don't LIKE.

I've been keeping my mouth shut about this, but... I dont like how Chloe x Halle are being treated. Chloe, as sexy as she is, is being treated like a sexpot (siren) and Halle's natural gift (songwriting) is being downplayed for her "shot" at Hollywood fame (temptress). Both of which are being hyper-sexualized and neither have been making music at the level they were when they were independent. 

I know their label (Columbia) is behind it, and thoroughly convinced them to "sex it up". As attractive as they both are, music is suffering majorly and they were doing something about it. Now that they aren't, it's just all bad.

Parkwood/Columbia, let Chloe x Halle do their thing. If they feel sexy, let them express it. If they feel somber, let them express it. Free expression doesn't come easy (or cheap), but it's the exact reason you were interested in them in the first place. 

Beyonce doesn't have creative control (or as much as she THINKS she does), so how can we expect Chloe x Halle to be as free? That's what this fight is for.

Green Eyes

DJ Green Lantern can see first hand what I'm going through. I think the people I'm close to from a distance (celebrities) want their identity protected while they make their way to me. They are so many different people I run into from one day to the next. Imagine smoking OG Kush with Jay-Z, while he's in a different form. It's not just me that sees it. DJGL sees it, too. But I must protect his identity while we ride out.

I'm out of here in August!

Newcomer in the class

ATL Jacob is this year's Mainstream Producer of the Year. More than just producing hits, he made bangers that transcended into #TheUnderground. What he goes through after this year determines whether he can hold his own on his own or if he needs some Columbine Gang Intervention. Regardless, I'm happy for him and only wish him the best.

For the record, he's not a #CGi member. Yet.

About the abuse

Often times, the members chosen to be in this gang are stronger than their circumstances. It sucks, but we have to take the abuse to get to a further point. Just know that I won't be dishing it out. Even if you sometimes deserve it.

I have someone to go to in case things get ugly. I just don't want to overwork him.

A legitimate gripe.

Cipha, don't get gassed! MF DOOM, in his younger self and in his older days, made more of an impact than you did. I'm not in NYC, so I can't make any threats. But I will say that you are out of line for your opinion, and you have lost merit in and with it. I don't know where to go from here, other than to not support you or Hot 97 anymore. No sweat off my brow. Shouldn't be any sweat from yours, either. Noticeably, Rosenberg is missing. And even he has some 'splainin to do to Columbine Gang.

Respect is just the mininum.

Sometimes it's best to not air out family business. So gang, I will find other ways to repremand you for unwavey behavior.

Discernment

In the name of the streets, I pray my gang can see who's who without me. Alchemist got tied into some shit with Roc Marci, 9th is in "some serious mess", it might be time to pull Green from the streets... things are really messy right now. I personally caught beef with a lesser known gang, and R. Kelly is involved. I wish I could bring peace to the streets. All I can do is be the soundtrack and the score.
