I've been keeping my mouth shut about this, but... I dont like how Chloe x Halle are being treated. Chloe, as sexy as she is, is being treated like a sexpot (siren) and Halle's natural gift (songwriting) is being downplayed for her "shot" at Hollywood fame (temptress). Both of which are being hyper-sexualized and neither have been making music at the level they were when they were independent.
I know their label (Columbia) is behind it, and thoroughly convinced them to "sex it up". As attractive as they both are, music is suffering majorly and they were doing something about it. Now that they aren't, it's just all bad.
Parkwood/Columbia, let Chloe x Halle do their thing. If they feel sexy, let them express it. If they feel somber, let them express it. Free expression doesn't come easy (or cheap), but it's the exact reason you were interested in them in the first place.
Beyonce doesn't have creative control (or as much as she THINKS she does), so how can we expect Chloe x Halle to be as free? That's what this fight is for.
