9th and I have a beautiful love/hate relationship. He doesn't like that I'm "rowdy", I don't like that he's "timid". We probably see the same traits in one another. But one thing I van say is...
9th has had my back in these streets. Whether it's telling cats to listen up when they downplay my music, or actually showing up when the drama is about to start.
The Hood is used to (by now) a certain "sound" as a call to war. The music andart of Columbine Gang has what the streets are lacking: soul. I think, within the chest of ever gangsta/gangstress, there is a soul that is dying and dying to be fed. We got that. All we ask is that you lay it all down.
You can murder someone without a gun or knife. With music.
And no one would ever know.
Keep dropping verses on our beats. Keep getting high to our movies. Learn the words. We speak to and for the streets.
Lest I mention the Goths who are forced to fit into urban lure...
So special shout out to you, 9th. Whether you know it or not, you were possessing this dude named Noe (pronounced NoWay) and checking people for not keeping it real.
"Reaching out for ya love..."
